AALA President
Dr. O'Sullivan has 40+ years of service with LAUSD. He has served as an instrumental music teacher, counselor, Assistant Principal, Secondary Counseling Services, and Assistant Principal at various secondary schools and Principal at Wilmington Middle School (1988-1990) and Fairfax High School (1990-1994).
In 1994, he was appointed as one of three AALA principal representatives to the Professional Development Collaborative, which also included a cadre of seven outstanding teachers. Subsequently, he was assigned to the Administrative Academy where he helped develop many of the current administrative training programs. Mike was elected President of AALA in April 2003 and reelected as President in April 2006.
