Ms. Prietto has 27 years of service with LAUSD. She has been a teacher and Title I Coordinator at Nightingale Junior High (now Middle) School and a teacher and Testing Coordinator at Franklin High School. In 1992, she was assigned as an Assistant Principal, Secondary Student Services, at San Fernando Middle School, and was selected to serve on the first Ewing Compensation Committee. From 1998 to 2000, she served as Assistant Principal Secondary Student Services Organization President, and during her tenure as President, she collaborated with the Assistant Principal, Secondary Counseling Organization to upgrade the APSSS and APSCS positions to an equal compensation status with the generic Assistant Principals. Margaret's AALA experience includes three terms as a Secondary Director and now a second term as Secondary Vice President.
