Ms. Williams has been with LAUSD for 33 years. She served as a teacher, mentor teacher, and coordinator before becoming the Assistant Principal of Lenicia B. Weemes and La Salle Avenue schools. She was the Principal of 54th Street School (1991-2001) and Birdielee V. Bright School (2001-2004), which was part of the Ten Schools Program.
Lynn has led numerous staff development sessions, participated on various District committees and is active in ACSA and COBA. In 2004 she joined the Administrative (now Leadership) Academy and has coordinated the New Principal Academy, facilitated the New Administrator Program, and is currently working with the LEAD program. Lynn is serving her first three-year team on the AALA Board, and she is the Board's Treasurer.
