Dr. Hermosillo has 29 years of service, part time and full time, with LAUSD. Fred initially served in Youth Services as an after-school playground director. Subsequent to that position, he served as an ESL teacher in adult school; elementary and high school teacher; adult school assistant principal and then principal.
His AALA experience includes two terms as the Adult Department Vice President, and service on various AALA committees (salary negotiations, adult education liaison, Principals' Ad Hoc). He was ACSA Administrator of the Year and Past President of the Venice Marina Rotary Club. He has also served on many educational and community organizations.
