Dr. Barrett has 27 years of service with LAUSD. She is a bilingual educator and has served schools on the Eastside and in the San Fernando Valley. She has also been a Central Office Adviser for the magnet programs.
Since 1997, Angel has been an administrator, Assistant Principal and Principal, at Plummer School. A former President of the Elementary Principals Organization, she was named Elementary School Principal of the Year by ACSA Region XVI. Her AALA experience includes one term as an Elementary Department Director and now a first term as Elementary Department Vice President.
